About Cheryl Moss

Cheryl Moss is a passionate advocate for animal welfare, a dedicated professional in banking, and an accomplished children’s author. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and furthered her education at the Pacific Coast Banking School (PCBS) in Seattle. Holding an MAI Certification as a Member of the Appraisal Institute, Cheryl currently works as an appraiser while actively building her mission to end factory farming in all forms.

A graduate of the Main Street Vegan Academy, Cheryl is deeply involved in the movement for a more compassionate world. She is a member of the Compassion Collective with Mercy For Animals and participates in Vegan Toastmasters, using her voice to educate and inspire change. Her advocacy extends into children’s literature, where she has authored three illustrated books—Gabriel, Cluck, and Pickle the Pig—which encourage young readers to embrace kindness, plant-based eating, and environmental awareness.

Expanding her impact, Cheryl is the creator and host  of the podcast, Better Life for Animals: Tales of Sanctuary Compassion, where she shares uplifting stories from animal sanctuaries and highlights the transformative power of kindness and advocacy. The podcast features vegan activists, ethical consumers, and animal welfare leaders to share their experiences, strategies, and passion for change. Her ambitious goal to raise $100,000 for Mercy For Animals reflects her dedication to supporting underrepresented sanctuaries and amplifying their vital work.

Beyond Her Work, Cheryl Enjoys:

Through her work, writing, and activism, Cheryl Moss continues to inspire a greater understanding of animal welfare, proving that education, creativity, and compassion can drive meaningful change.
